Textile Facades

Textile facades use TEXO®, a pre-stretched fabric panel, a structural system patented by Tensoforma, based on the use of a special extruded aluminium profile frame and a silicone elastomer interposed between the profile frame and a textile membrane. TEXO® represents an innovative, versatile, high-performance envelope system that can be used both in the case of new constructions and in the requalification of buildings.

The dimensions of the panels are completely customizable and are produced individually in shape and size to suit the characteristics of the project: the only limitation is the possibility of transport. Therefore, using normal vehicles of transport, the maximum size is 12.5 m x 2.5 m high per panel. The multiple uses of the TEXO® system refer to the wide availability of technical fabrics on the international market. The system was originally conceived and developed for outdoor applications.
